Her slinky Vivienne Westwood number was a dramatic change from the jeans and chunky sweater she was seen wearing earlier in the day as the actress brought her twin girls to school.

The former Sex and the City star blended into the crowd as she held the tiny hands of her girls, Marion and Tabitha, while joining their nanny on the afternoon school run.

 

Stopping to pet a puppy, and carefully crossing the bustling streets in the West Village, the adorable siblings looked thrilled to be out with their mom.

The 47-year-old star wore shimmering grey Vivienne Westwood for the gala at the Liberty Theater, in honour of the Australia Council for the Arts.
The actress paired the dress with a pair of patent, pointy-toe pumps and added diamond bracelets that pulled together the look.
