Going solo: Jessica Alba stocks up on coffee and cake on day off from adorable daughters

She's seemingly whittled down to her pre-pregnancy shape since giving birth to two children.
But that doesn't stop Jessica Alba from indulging in the odd sweet.
The actress was seen in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, carrying a cake and coffees after exiting a local shop.

The 31-year-old Machete star was dressed down in dark denim skinny jeans and tan riding boots, paired with a cream sweater.

Jessica accessorised with a long gold chain and black Bulgari handbag, which tugged at her shirt and revealed her white bra strap.

 

The actress wore her ombre locks tangled around her shoulders as she juggled her coffees and sweets to the car.

The solo outing was a rare one for Jessica, who is usually seen running errands with her two daughters and husband Cash Warren in tow.

Just Saturday she was seen with Honor, four, and Haven, one, at upscale Los Angeles restaurant Tavern.

Wearing a pair of off-white jeans with an off the shoulder white jumper and matching high-top sneakers, the fashion conscious star carried her youngest daughter on one hip as they left the Brentwood hot spot.

The Fantastic Four star and her brood dined with friends at the chic eatery, which is also a favourite of Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Garner and Gwyneth Paltrow.

But while the actress-turned-entrepreneur is estimated to have a net worth of $40million, she has made a point of staying grounded and teaching her children that they need to give back.

'We talk about keeping [Honor] humble and not trying to over spoil her and letting her understand that there are people that don’t have what she has,' Jessica told People last year.

On Saturday the foxy Sin City star was out again with her two girls as they strolled around Beverly Hills.

Jessica has a busy schedule coming up, as she stars in a number of film projects, including the star-studded sequel Machete Kills where she'll join Danny Trejo, Sofía Vergara, Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens, Charlie Sheen and Lady Gaga.

In the highly-anticipated Robert Rodriguez flick, the U.S. government recruits Machete (Trejo) to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer (Gibson) who's set to launch a weapon into space.

She'll also play tattooed Michelle in a movie called A.C.O.D., in which Jessica stars alongside Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, and Amy Poehler.
