Armed and dangerous: Kristen Stewart looks ready for action as she tucks a slingshot in her back pocket

At the age of 22, it's probably been a while since Kristen Stewart played with a slingshot.
So it's surprising to see the Twilight star carrying one as she arrived at her family's home in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Perhaps the slingshot was a gift for a young relative, or maybe she wanted to arm herself from an over-aggressive fan or paparazzo.

The film star did her best Just William impression as she visited family in Hollywood on Wednesday.
Clearly enjoying the sunshine, she wore a pair of cut-off denim shorts, T-shirt, cardigan and baseball cap.
Nowhere to be seen was her on/off boyfriend Robert Pattinson, who is believed to have spent Christmas with his family in England.

Meanwhile, Kristen revealed in a new interview how the public know 'even less' about her private life following her affair scandal with married director Rupert Sanders.
She told USA Today: 'People think they knew a lot about me before. They know even less now.
'People will project whatever. It's a huge form of entertainment. As soon as you step outside your own life and look at it like that and think that you can shape something - you need to live your life. I'm just going to live my life, actually.'
She also admitted she is often able to go around incognito, but Robert isn't so lucky.
She explained: 'Rob is (noticed) way more than I am, especially if we're out together. He's so recognisable, and I'm not. I put a hood on, and I'm a girl with long hair. I can go out.'
