Sarah Jessica Parker knows that in wintry New York; you need to keep your ears covered up.
So the busy mother-of-three slipped a woollen hat over her extremities on Wednesday as she walked through Manhattan with her son, James Wilkie.
But the 10-year-old had the flamboyant edge on his stylish mother in a ferociously good bear hat.

The 47-year-old actress was dressed warmly for her market errand, wearing a beige down jacket with fur-trimmed hood, cuffed jeans and fleece trimmed suede boots.
As the mother of James and three-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha, and wife of actor Matthew Broderick, Sarah takes her role as homemaker as seriously as she does her acting career.
Just before Christmas Sarah got in the holiday spirit as she decorated the front of their home in wreaths, greenery and ribbons.

Sarah took her time cutting out identical lengths of blue ribbon and tying them into bows, spacing them apart at identical intervals.
There was even a small potted pine Christmas tree on the front porch, which she wrapped in blue ribbon as well.
The actress is enjoying time with her family before she gets to work on her next two films.
She's about to film Mixtape and Married and Cheating back-to-back.
