Jessica Chastain has been hailed for looking like a 40s screen siren, and it seems the pretty actress has been taking her image to heart.
Stepping out in the chilly post-storm weather in New York on Friday, the redhead looked effortlessly stylish as she bundled up in a classic mac coat and a large hat.
Teaming up her woolly hat with a pair of sky high stilettos and a leopard print bag, the actress looked every inch the Hollywood starlet as she braved the cold in the streets of Manhattan.

Jessica however struggled to keep her cute hat on, and had to hold on to the fashion item to avoid it blowing away after every gush of wind.
The Oscar nominated actress currently stars in The Heiress on Broadway alongside Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens.
It marks the actress's Broadway debut, and despite closing down the show for Hurricane Sandy, she's been getting rave reviews.

The Help actress told Good Morning American on Thursday: 'I’ve actually done more plays than films, which I know is surprising for people because all of a sudden it was like, ‘Everywhere, Chastain!’ in movies.'
'But yeah, it’s been really great. This is my Broadway debut. It has been a dream to be on Broadway and to be here with this ensemble.'
Jessica is known for changing her look and hairstyle to suit her movie roles, going blonde for The Help.
She explained: 'As an actor I want to play different kinds of women, and I don’t want to be associated with a certain look for each part,' Jessica shared.

And the beauty is also hoping the pressures of getting cosmetic surgery in Hollywood won't get to her.
'I want to be allowed to age. Hopefully the public will let me age gracefully.'
Next up for Jessica is a part in Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow's latest film, Zero Dark Thirty, to be released early next year.
